Delaware Man Arrested for Selling Stolen Vehicle

BRIDGEVILLE, DE—The Delaware State Police have arrested 66-year-old Henry Williams of Bridgeville for allegedly selling a stolen vehicle. The arrest follows an investigation that started last week after a report of a vehicle theft.

On April 12, troopers were called to a property on Dublin Hill Road where a gray 2004 Ford Taurus was reported missing. The car, parked with the owner’s permission since 2021, was last seen on April 11. Investigation revealed that Williams, a friend of the car owner and custodian of the property, sold the vehicle on April 10 to a car dealer in Laurel, falsely claiming ownership.

Williams turned himself in on April 17 at Troop 5 and was charged accordingly. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.
