BRONX, NY—An early morning altercation at The Azteca Club led to an assault and robbery on Saturday, May 18, 2024. At around 4:08 AM, a 30-year-old man was attacked by three unidentified individuals during a dispute inside the club located on East 170th Street.
The initial confrontation escalated when one assailant repeatedly struck the victim in the face with a closed fist and proceeded to forcibly remove items from the victim’s neck and wrist.
A 35-year-old man who witnessed the incident intervened to assist the initial victim but was also struck in the face by one of the attackers. Following the altercation, the trio fled the scene heading westbound on East 170 Street.
Both victims declined medical attention at the scene. The authorities are actively searching for the three suspects involved in this incident. The first suspect is described as having a light complexion, last seen wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect also has a medium complexion and was last seen wearing a black jacket. The third suspect, described as having a light complexion, was wearing all black attire with multicolored sneakers.
The police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
