Newark, NJ The Newark Fire Division participated in the city’s 4th Annual “Canoe-Mobile” event on the Passaic River, organized by the Office of Sustainability. This event aimed to engage Newark students from various schools in canoeing activities while raising awareness about environmental conservation.
Firefighters from Newark were present at the event, assisting with safety measures. They utilized a fireboat to ensure the wellbeing of participating students as they navigated the waters of the Passaic River.
