Wyckoff Avenue closed southbound for emergency water work until 3 pm

WYCKOFF, N.J. — Ridgewood Water has announced an emergency southbound closure of Wyckoff Avenue at Franklin Avenue due to utility work, with the closure expected to last until approximately 3 p.m. today.

The closure is necessary to allow contractors to perform urgent maintenance on infrastructure in the area. Ridgewood Water is overseeing the work.

Residents and businesses located within the closed section of Wyckoff Avenue will still be allowed access during the operation, officials said.

Drivers are advised to expect detours and traffic delays throughout the area and are encouraged to allow additional time for travel.

Anyone with questions or concerns is asked to contact Ridgewood Water directly at 201-670-5520.

Emergency utility work closes a section of Wyckoff Avenue through mid-afternoon.
