Two K TAKE 5 winners hit in Brooklyn and Hudson

Brooklyn deli and Hudson gas stop sell winning lottery tickets

Albany, NY – Two TAKE 5 players struck it big in separate corners of New York after landing top-prize winning tickets in the August 30 evening drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

Each winning ticket is worth $17,886. One was sold at Quisqueya Deli & Grocery, located at 181 St. Nicholas Avenue in Brooklyn, while the other was purchased at Alltown Fresh Livingston on US Route 9H and Route 23 in Hudson.

The TAKE 5 game draws numbers from a field of one through 39 and is held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The latest winners join a growing list of TAKE 5 players cashing in on the daily draw game. The August 30 top prize was split evenly between the two tickets after both matched all five numbers.

The New York Lottery continues to lead the continent in lottery revenue, contributing $3.6 billion in the current fiscal year to support public education statewide.

Winners have not yet been publicly identified, and no additional information was released regarding whether the tickets were quick picks or manually selected.
