Tickets start at $1 for a single play. Players select five numbers from 1 through 39, and lottery officials then draw five winning numbers followed by a Bonus Ball from the remaining numbers.
Matching all five winning numbers secures the game’s $50,000 top prize. Additional prizes ranging from $2 to $600 are available for players who match combinations involving the Bonus Ball or at least three winning numbers.
Lottery officials did not release information about the person who purchased the winning ticket, and the prize remains unclaimed as of Tuesday.
The recent run of Bonus Match 5 winners comes during a busy spring period for Maryland Lottery games, with several major scratch-off and draw-game prizes claimed statewide in recent weeks.
Players have 182 days from the drawing date to claim Maryland Lottery prizes.
