Brooklyn player wins $50,000 in Powerball third-prize drawing

Brooklyn, NY – A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Brooklyn for the January 31 drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The winning ticket was sold at TRYKERS, located at 265 Avenue X in Brooklyn. The lucky player matched four white balls and the red Power Ball, securing the game’s third-tier prize.

Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Tickets are drawn from a pool of 69 white balls and one red Power Ball from a separate pool of 26.
