Essex County player wins $95,050 in Quick Draw Progressive jackpot

Newark, NJ – A lucky Essex County lottery player walked away with a $95,050 prize after hitting 20% of the Quick Draw Progressive Jackpot with a winning ticket purchased Saturday.

The winning ticket was sold at Kalibat’s Smoke Shop, located at 199 Ferry Street in Newark. According to the New Jersey Lottery, the player matched all nine jackpot numbers on a $2 wager per draw ticket—earning them 20% of the progressive prize pool.

The Quick Draw Progressive Jackpot continues to grow and currently sits at over $386,000.

The progressive game offers players a chance to win a rolling jackpot with no additional cost. Each Quick Draw ticket includes a set of nine randomly generated “Your Jackpot Numbers” ranging from 01 to 80. If all nine numbers match during any of the eligible Quick Draw drawings, the player wins a percentage of the jackpot based on the wager amount.

A $1 ticket wins 10%, a $2 ticket wins 20%, and tickets with wagers of $10 or more per draw can win the full jackpot.
