WILDWOOD CREST, NJ – A 53-year-old man died while swimming at the beach in Wildwood Crest on Tuesday. Police said Joel Green passed away despite efforts to revive him through CPR by a good samaritan.
Green was pulled from the ocean by nearby swimmers but was unresponsive, police reported. Officers continued CPR efforts along with Wildwood Fire & Rescue responders, but those efforts were not able to revive Green.
