One Cash 5 ticket matched all five numbers in Thursday night’s drawing
COLLIER TOWNSHIP, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery ticket purchased at an Allegheny County grocery store matched every number in Thursday night’s Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing, delivering a jackpot worth $807,317 and a $5,000 bonus for the retailer that sold it.
The jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at Giant Eagle, 1025 Washington Pike in Collier Township, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Friday.
The ticket matched all five numbers drawn Thursday: 7, 11, 17, 22 and 31.
The jackpot is worth $807,317 before applicable withholding.
Giant Eagle will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket, according to the Lottery.
The Pennsylvania Lottery does not identify a jackpot winner until the prize has been claimed and the ticket has been validated.
Cash 5 main-game prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
Prizes won through the Quick Cash portion of the game must be claimed within one year of the ticket’s purchase date.
The jackpot was not the only money won in Thursday’s drawing.
More than 19,600 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets won prizes at other levels, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The Lottery advises holders of jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets to contact a Pennsylvania Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 for instructions on claiming the prize.
One ticket carrying the five-number combination of 7-11-17-22-31 turned a stop at an Allegheny County Giant Eagle into an $807,317 jackpot hit.
