WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ—The Wall Township Police Department reported several incidents involving driving while intoxicated (DWI) and drug possession over the past week, resulting in multiple arrests across various locations in the township.
On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Nicole Dutoit, 34, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, was arrested for DWI following a traffic stop by Patrolman Jason Paulus on State Highway 34 near Warren Avenue. Dutoit was processed and subsequently released in accordance with John’s Law.
Two days later, on June 27, Jeffrey D. Perry, 44, of Belmar, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine after being stopped by Detective Tom Gavaghan on State Highway 35 near 18th Avenue. Perry was released on a summons after processing.
The arrests continued into the weekend, with Luis J. Roges, 73, of Punta Gorda, Florida, being arrested for DWI by Patrolman TJ Powers after a traffic stop on Interstate 195 on June 28. John M. Dunne, 66, of Jackson, was also arrested for DWI on June 29 after a stop by Patrolman Megan Alexander on Route 34. Both individuals were processed and released under John’s Law.
On Sunday, June 30, two more DWI arrests occurred. Matthew A. Ghorchian, 20, of Marlboro, was apprehended by Patrolman TJ Powers following a motor vehicle accident investigation on Oval Road. That same day, Laurie A. Robles, 53, of Brick, was arrested for DWI by Johan Moreno-Garcia after a hit-and-run incident on State Highway 33. Both Ghorchian and Robles were processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.
These incidents highlight ongoing efforts by the Wall Township Police to address and curtail impaired driving in the area.
