NYPD Seeks Suspect in Subway Robbery of Teenager

New York, NY – On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at approximately 11:50 a.m., a 13-year-old male was robbed while exiting the subway at East 219th Street and White Plains Road on the “2” train line. An unidentified individual demanded the victim’s money and cellphone, simulating a weapon during the robbery.

The suspect fled on foot with $20 and the victim’s iPhone, valued at approximately $200. The victim was not injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, approximately 5’7″ tall, and weighing around 140 pounds. He has dark brown dreadlocks with blonde ends and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue and orange shorts, and blue and white sneakers.
