Gunshots Ring Out in Queens as NYPD Seeks Shooter

QUEENS, NY — Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Thursday, at approximately 6:55 PM, in front of 116-42 219 Street.

An unidentified male discharged a firearm, hitting the trunk of a 2012 Dodge before fleeing the scene on foot, heading northbound on 219 Street.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in connection with the gunfire. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, white sneakers, and carrying a backpack.

Authorities are seeking any information related to the incident or the individual involved.
