Delaware State Police Investigating Shots Fired at Felton Residence

FELTON, Del. — Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that took place late Saturday night at a residence in Felton. The incident occurred on August 24, 2024, at approximately 11:10 p.m.

Troopers responded to a home on the 10000 block of South Dupont Highway after receiving reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered that an unknown suspect had fired multiple shots at the occupied residence. One adult was inside the house at the time of the shooting, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit is leading the investigation and is currently working to identify the suspect or suspects involved.
