HANOVER, Md. — Two suspects were arrested following a police pursuit of a stolen vehicle on the night of September 5, 2024, in Hanover, according to local authorities.

At approximately 10:15 p.m., officers spotted a stolen green 1997 Honda CRV being driven near Arundel Mills Boulevard. Police followed the vehicle while awaiting backup. When officers attempted to stop the Honda, the driver struck a patrol vehicle, causing minor injuries to an officer.

The suspects fled in the stolen vehicle toward Baltimore, with the Baltimore Police Department’s Foxtrot air unit providing aerial surveillance. After abandoning the vehicle, the two suspects fled on foot but were quickly apprehended with assistance from the Foxtrot and Anne Arundel County Police air units.

The injured officer was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported, and the suspects now face multiple charges.
