Three teen girls beaten over parking space at new jersey mall

DEPTFORD, NJ-On 12-07-2018 at 2010 hours, Deptford police officers were dispatched to Deptford Mall parking lot in the vicinity of Modell’s Sporting Goods for the report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with three female victims who stated that they were assaulted in the parking lot by two males and two females.

The victims advised that a verbal dispute over a parking space escalated into a physical assault; at which time, two of the females sustained injuries. The females related that the two males and two females entered a white colored Pontiac with a New Jersey registration and fled the area after the assault. The injured females initially refused medical treatment at the scene but later responded to Jefferson Washington Hospital.This incident remains under investigation. The victims advised that a verbal dispute over a parking space escalated into a physical assault; at which time, two of the females sustained injuries. The girls said they were in their car, but weren’t ready to leave yet, which they suspect angered the four occupants of the waiting car.

Witnesses say the attack could have even been racially motivated.

According to witnesses, the assailants, described as African-American said to the girls as they were being beaten, “White bitches are getting too comfortable.”

The attackers were driving a white Pontiac G6.
