CAMBRIDGE, Md. — The Cambridge Police Department expressed appreciation to the Hurlock Lions Club and Bay Country Communications for donating and delivering lunches to department employees. In a social media post, the department highlighted the visit by Tim McCarter of the Lions Club, who personally delivered the meals.

The lunches, which were prepared by Lions Club members, were part of an ongoing effort to support and connect with local law enforcement. “Thank you for the lunches and the continued support,” the department wrote, emphasizing the spirit of community collaboration.

Cambridge Police noted the importance of these gestures in building positive relationships between officers and local organizations. “That is what community is all about,” the department stated.
