MCKEESPORT, Pa. — Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead from a gunshot wound in a McKeesport cemetery Monday morning.
Allegheny County Police said they were called to the McKeesport Versailles Cemetery at 10:44 a.m. after first responders discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe the victim may have been shot elsewhere before being placed at the cemetery. His identity has not yet been determined.
The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation and is asking anyone with information to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
