PHILADELPHIA, PA — Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery that took place at a convenience store on the 300 block of Ruscomb Street on the afternoon of February 20, 2025.

According to the complainant, a female customer refused to pay for a food order and walked out of the store around 3:00 p.m. When the store employee ran outside and took the order back, the woman returned with several men from the neighborhood.

One of the men began physically assaulting the employee, while the female suspect also joined in the altercation. During the fight, another male suspect went behind the register and stole the money inside. The suspects then fled the store.

The offenders are believed to be from the area and have been inside the store before, police said.
