BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for a man who allegedly pulled a knife during a robbery at a commercial business in Park Slope early Thursday morning, the New York City Police Department said.
The incident occurred on April 17 at approximately 6:20 a.m. inside a store located at 520 5th Avenue, within the confines of the 78th Precinct. According to authorities, a 60-year-old male employee was working at the counter when the unidentified suspect entered the establishment, brandished a knife, and stole store merchandise.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot, heading south on 5th Avenue toward 14th Street. No injuries were reported in the robbery.
The NYPD has released an image of the suspect taken from surveillance footage in the hope that someone in the public can assist in identifying him. The department did not specify what items were stolen during the incident.
