BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in March, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Detectives identified and arrested Cameron Cason in the March 9 homicide of a 17-year-old male who was found with at least one gunshot wound in the 4300 block of Bedrock Circle at approximately 8:55 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The arrest was announced Saturday, more than two months after the shooting took place. Authorities did not release details regarding a motive or the relationship between the suspect and victim.

Cason is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, police said in a statement.

“Arrest made in homicide investigation,” the department wrote on social media, confirming the charge and custody status.
