Man Fatally Shot in Bronx, Police Seek Suspects

BRONX, NY – A 25-year-old man was fatally shot in front of 729 Bryant Avenue in the South Bronx on Monday, June 9, 2025, police said. The incident, reported at approximately 8:17 p.m., prompted a swift response from officers of the 41st Precinct following a 911 call.

Upon arrival, police found the victim unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Emergency Medical Services rushed the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to identify suspects and determine the circumstances of the shooting.
