Jackson Township set to close summer concert series with folk-rock finale this Wednesday

JACKSON, NJ – The sounds of summer are coming to a close in Jackson Township, but not before one last night of music under the stars. The 2024 Summer Concert Series will wrap up this Wednesday with a Folk/Country Rock Night performance featuring Williams Boy at Johnson Memorial Park.

Storm warning: Please visit Jacksontwpnj.net for latest weather updates.

The concert is free and will take place from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at 192 Kierych Memorial Drive, where residents have gathered all season long for themed musical nights. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of live music, community spirit, and on-site food trucks.

Williams Boy, known for blending country roots with rock energy, is expected to draw a crowd for the finale.

The Jackson Township Cultural and Heritage Commission has presented the free series since early June, with this year’s lineup featuring reggae, Latin, variety, school-age rock bands, and country acts. Wednesday’s show marks the sixth and final performance of the 2024 series.

The event is supported by local sponsors and aims to promote arts and culture across the township through family-friendly programming.
