MAYS LANDING, NJ — A former employee of the Hamilton Township Board of Education was arrested Wednesday in connection with an ongoing criminal investigation involving allegations of sexual assault and misconduct, according to police.

Darnell Williams, 34, was taken into custody near his residence in Whiting without incident, following a months-long investigation by the Township of Hamilton Police Department. Authorities said the investigation began earlier this year after a report was filed concerning Williams’ conduct.
