Ocean County player lands $349,234 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot with lucky Toms River ticket

TRENTON, NJ – A lucky lottery player in Ocean County turned a routine ticket into a six-figure windfall Monday night, matching all five numbers to win the $349,234 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.

The winning ticket was sold at Country Farms, located at 892 Fischer Boulevard in Toms River. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket. The August 1 drawing marked the 46th Jersey Cash 5 jackpot awarded in New Jersey so far this year.

The winning numbers were 07, 09, 11, 44, and 45. The XTRA number was 03, and the Bullseye number was 44.

In addition to the jackpot hit, six tickets matched four of the five white balls, the Bullseye, and the XTRA, each earning $1,500. Ten more tickets matched four numbers and the Bullseye to win $500 apiece.

With the top prize claimed, the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has reset to $150,000 for the next drawing.
