New York, NY – Harlem Shake is joining forces with Citymeals on Wheels to launch the Big Apple PigOut, a month-long campaign designed to raise money for homebound seniors in New York City. The partnership kicks off Wednesday and runs through November 1 at Harlem Shake’s Manhattan and Brooklyn locations.
The PigOut features a $35 combo with three new menu items: the Pigskin Burger made with two Pat LaFrieda beef patties, pork rinds, cheddar cheese, pickles, onions, and BBQ sauce; Bacon Cheese Fries topped with cheese sauce, bacon, and chives; and a Double Chocolate Bacon Milkshake. Twenty percent of each combo purchase will be donated to Citymeals on Wheels.
Customers dining in or ordering delivery can also make additional donations, which Harlem Shake will contribute to the nonprofit. Founded in 1981, Citymeals on Wheels delivers meals to 22,000 older New Yorkers who are unable to shop or cook for themselves.
The fundraiser will be available at Harlem Shake’s flagship on West 124th Street in Harlem and its Brooklyn location on 5th Avenue in Park Slope.
