TOMS RIVER, N.J. – An Ocean County woman identified as Ashley Garcia was booked into the county jail this week on a contempt charge stemming from an alleged court order violation, according to county inmate records.

Garcia was committed to the Ocean County Jail on Wednesday and is being held on a $2,500 cash bond, records show.

Court documents list the charge under New Jersey statute 2C:29-9B(2), which covers violations of restraining or protective orders issued by a judge.
