Man found dead with body trauma on Brooklyn street

BROOKLYN, NY – A man was discovered dead Friday morning in Flatbush with signs of trauma, prompting an active police investigation, authorities said.

Officers responded to a 911 call around 9:14 a.m. reporting an unconscious man in front of 557 East 21 Street.

Police found the unidentified male unresponsive on the ground with visible injuries to his body.

EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Investigation underway
