Philadelphia, PA – A string of shootings across Philadelphia left three men wounded Friday evening, marking another night of gun violence that stretched from South to North Philadelphia.
The first shooting unfolded around 5:22 p.m. on the 2200 block of West Somerset Street, where officers from the 39th District found a 23-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Police said a 60-year-old man was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. No crime scene was immediately located in connection with the incident.
North Philadelphia shooting adds to the toll
Less than an hour later, at approximately 8:15 p.m., officers from the 25th District were called to the 3200 block of Hurley Street, where they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. That victim was taken by police to Temple University Hospital for treatment. A crime scene was located and remains under investigation.
Police probe motive, search for suspects
Authorities have not released descriptions of suspects or potential motives in any of the three cases. Detectives from each district are reviewing surveillance footage and canvassing nearby blocks for witnesses.
