Man arrested at Stafford coffee shop for public intoxication and drug possession

Stafford, VA – A Triangle man is behind bars after a reported disturbance at a local coffee shop revealed he was intoxicated and in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia.

Deputy M.N. Sayegh responded to Black Rifle Coffee Company on Warrenton Road at approximately 2:26 p.m. Thursday for a suspicious person report. Staff reported a man acting erratically and appearing to be under the influence.

The man, identified as Antowon Baker, 42, was observed swaying, nodding off, and speaking with slurred speech. Upon arrest, deputies found multiple items of drug paraphernalia containing residue of suspected controlled substances.

Baker was charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance. He is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a secured bond.
