Manhattan, NY – An individual entered a Lafayette Street store Monday, Oct. 20 and attempted to buy merchandise with a credit card before the transaction was declined.

The individual then manually entered prompts into the payment terminal without the employee’s knowledge.

The individual left the store with about $9,710 worth of baseball and Pokémon cards.
