Myrtle Beach, SC – A 31-year-old man has been arrested following an early morning shooting incident Sunday on the 1300 block of Dunbar Street, police said.
Officers responded around 5:03 a.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert, though no 911 calls were made at the time.
Investigators later learned that one person had arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was treated and released.

Suspect identified and charged
By Sunday evening, Myrtle Beach Police announced the arrest of Tevin Hinds, 31, of Myrtle Beach, in connection with the shooting. Hinds faces charges of possession of a firearm by an unlawful alien and discharging a firearm within city limits.
Authorities set his bond at $1,087 for discharging a firearm and $20,000 for unlawful possession. Police said the investigation remains active as detectives continue to gather evidence and speak with witnesses.
