Deadly shooting in Central District leaves one dead, one injured as police investigate
BALTIMORE, MD – A man is dead and a young woman is recovering after a double shooting Friday night in the heart of Baltimore’s Central District, authorities said.
On November 21 at approximately 8:37 p.m., Central District officers were on patrol when they heard gunfire coming from the 400 block of West Saratoga Street. Officers quickly canvassed the area and located two victims — a 23-year-old male and an 18-year-old female — both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics arrived and transported both victims to a nearby hospital. The male victim was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The female victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and remains under medical care.
