MANCHESTER, NJ – Two township police officers have been recognized for their bravery and exceptional service during the 129th Annual New Jersey State PBA Valor Awards ceremony held last weekend.

Officer Nicholas Greenwood and Officer Michael Anderson received the Silver Medal of Valor, one of the state’s highest honors for law enforcement courage.

The award acknowledges officers who demonstrate outstanding heroism and dedication while performing their duties.

Manchester Police Chief Ellis, members of the department’s Command Staff, and PBA Local 246 Delegate Lorenzo Jorge attended the event to show their support.

Recognition for exceptional service

The annual Valor Awards, hosted by the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association, celebrates officers from across the state who display bravery and professionalism in critical situations.

Chief Ellis commended Officers Greenwood and Anderson for their commitment to protecting the community and upholding the department’s values.
