Monmouth County ticket hits $1 million in Cash 4 Life jackpot draw
Trenton, NJ — A lucky lottery player in Monmouth County is waking up a millionaire after matching all five white balls in Friday night’s Cash 4 Life drawing, narrowly missing the top prize by just one number.
The winning ticket, worth $1 million, was sold at Country Farm, located at 3335 Adelphia and Wycoff Road in Howell Township’s Adelphia section. The numbers drawn were 34, 44, 50, 51, and 58, with a Cash Ball of 01. While the winner didn’t snag the $1,000-a-day-for-life grand prize, the match was enough to lock in the game’s second-highest payout: $1,000 a week for life, redeemed as a lump-sum $1 million cash value.
This marks the sixth time this year a player in New Jersey has claimed the second-tier prize in the Cash 4 Life game. In May, a Union County ticket took home the top prize, opting for the $7 million cash payout after matching all five numbers plus the Cash Ball.
Cash 4 Life is a multistate lottery offered in nine states, with daily drawings held at 9 p.m. It offers two lifetime jackpots and seven additional prize tiers. Tickets cost $2, with an optional $1 Doubler add-on that can increase winnings in lower-tier prizes — though it does not apply to the lifetime payouts.
Lottery officials have not yet revealed the identity of the winner. The ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the New Jersey Lottery to claim their prize.
