PARAMUS, NJ – The Paramus Police Department announced the passing of retired Special Police Officer Sisto Antonio Caravella, a respected member of the department who dedicated 28 years of service to the community.
Caravella joined the department in 1977 as a Police Special I Officer and served faithfully until his retirement in 2005. During his tenure, he was recognized for his professionalism, commitment, and steady presence within the borough.
Funeral services for Officer Caravella will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Visitation Church, followed by interment at George Washington Cemetery.
The department expressed its condolences to the Caravella family and thanked him for his years of service to the residents of Paramus.
