Woman launches antisemitic tirade after crash outside manalapan police station

Manalapan, NJ – A minor car accident outside the Manalapan Township Police Department turned into a disturbing incident of antisemitic abuse after a local woman allegedly hurled slurs at Jewish victims following the crash.

According to eyewitness accounts and a Facebook post by the victim in the crash, the victim’s vehicle was rear-ended at a red light across from the police station by a BMW whose driver became distracted when his unsecured dog jumped into the front seat. Shortly after the collision, the driver’s mother arrived at the scene and began shouting antisemitic insults, repeatedly using slurs against the Jewish passengers.

Video from the incident reportedly captures the mother yelling, “You f***ing Jew… I don’t care, tape me… he’s a Jew,” while confronting the occupants of the other vehicle.

The driver of the hit vehicle described the encounter as “shocking and deeply disturbing,” saying it made the community “feel less safe by the day.”

He also stated that the responding officer from the Manalapan Township Police Department acted professionally but informed the victims that no citations would be issued to the driver, citing it as his first offense and noting that the crash occurred on Christmas Day.

At one point during the exchange, after it was mentioned that police had been called, one of the men in the video walks over to a storm drain and appears to discard something into that drain, but that has not been confirmed.

He expressed disappointment that the driver was not cited despite multiple apparent violations, including expired insurance, no front license plate, and an unsecured dog.

Local residents have since voiced outrage online, with many calling for accountability and condemning both the antisemitic behavior and the lack of enforcement at the scene. The incident has sparked renewed concern over rising antisemitism in suburban communities across New Jersey.
