New Jersey Lottery unveils new games with top prizes up to $500K starting January
Trenton, NJ – Gamblers across New Jersey will have fresh chances to strike it rich starting in January as the New Jersey Lottery launches five new games, including three Scratch-Off tickets and two Fast Play Progressives with jackpots reaching into the six figures.
Leading the new lineup is Disco Dollar Fest, a $10 Scratch-Off with a top prize of $500,000. Also hitting retailers is Year of the Horse, a $5 game offering a top prize of $200,000, and Loose Change, a $1 ticket with a $500 top prize.
In addition to the Scratch-Offs, two Fast Play Progressive games will launch. Team USA is priced at $10 and offers 100% of its progressive jackpot to the winner. The $5 Cashword Fast Play game awards 50% of the progressive jackpot.
The Fast Play series features progressive jackpots that grow with every ticket sold until a winning ticket is purchased, resetting the jackpot afterward.
The New Jersey Lottery, which began operations in 1970, has generated nearly $34.7 billion for the state. Proceeds currently support the public employee pension system under a 30-year funding plan enacted in 2017.
