TOMS RIVER, NJ – Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that 42-year-old Marc Fay of Brick Township pleaded guilty to possession of child sexual abuse material before Superior Court Judge Linda Baxter.

He is currently not listed on the Ocean County Jail roster.

At sentencing, currently set for March 27, 2026, the state will seek a five-year term of probation, including conditions prohibiting Fay from having unsupervised contact with minors and from accessing the internet.

An investigation conducted by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad and the Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau led to the discovery of incriminating material. A forensic examination of Fay’s cell phone revealed a video depicting child sexual abuse. Fay was charged on October 16, 2025, and later surrendered to Brick Township Police Headquarters. He was transported to the Ocean County Jail and subsequently released under New Jersey Bail Reform guidelines.

Prosecutor Billhimer credited Supervising Assistant Prosecutor Shanon Chant-Berry for handling the case and commended the collaborative work of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad and the Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau.
