Woman stabbed multiple times inside Brooklyn building as suspect vanishes

Brooklyn, NY — A late-night dispute inside a Brooklyn building escalated into violence when a woman was stabbed multiple times and the attacker fled before police arrived.

The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, March 8, inside 5820 7th Avenue within the confines of the 72nd Precinct. According to police, a 42-year-old woman was involved in a verbal dispute that turned physical.

Authorities said the unidentified individual stabbed the victim multiple times about the body before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The victim’s condition has not been disclosed, and no arrests have been made.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect as the case remains under investigation.
