WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect and a vehicle believed to be connected to a theft in Southeast DC.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the theft occurred in the 400 block of 8th Street Southeast. Investigators are searching for a suspect as well as a vehicle described as a possible gray Toyota 4Runner.

Police did not release additional details about the theft or what was taken.

The investigation remains ongoing.
