Officer spots 21-year-old during Centre Street patrol
CUMBERLAND, MD – A 21-year-old Cumberland man who had already been cited for trespassing at a residence was allegedly found back on the property Monday, leading to another encounter with police and an arrest.
William Glenn Bickling was identified by the Cumberland Police Department following the Centre Street incident.
Police said an officer was patrolling the area Monday when Bickling was observed trespassing at a residence.
According to the department, Bickling had previously been cited for trespassing at the same property.
The officer made contact with Bickling and placed him under arrest.
Bickling was issued a criminal citation charging him with trespassing on posted property.
He was released pending trial.
Police did not provide information concerning why Bickling was allegedly at the residence or when the previous trespassing citation was issued.
The charge is an allegation. Bickling is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
