BRONX, N.Y. – A 21-year-old man who arranged online to sell clothing was robbed at gunpoint by three suspects after arriving for the planned transaction in the Bronx, according to NYPD Crime Stoppers.
The robbery occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. Aug. 11 at 1261 Findlay Avenue, within the NYPD 44th Precinct. Police said the victim had arranged online to meet an unidentified person at the location to sell clothing.
Instead, three unidentified individuals approached the seller, and one displayed a firearm, according to police. The group allegedly took approximately $1,700 worth of clothing before fleeing northbound on Findlay Avenue.

Online Clothing Sale Turns Into Armed Bronx Robbery
Police said the victim went to 1261 Findlay Avenue expecting to complete a clothing sale that had been arranged online.
Once he arrived, three unidentified people approached him. One of the suspects then displayed a firearm, according to the NYPD’s wanted notice.
“The individuals removed approximately $1,700 worth of clothing and fled the location on foot,” NYPD Crime Stoppers said.
The suspects were last seen traveling northbound on Findlay Avenue.
Police did not report the victim being shot or otherwise injured in the Crime Stoppers notice. Investigators also did not disclose which online platform was allegedly used to arrange the transaction.
NYPD Searches for Three Suspects
The NYPD is now asking the public for help identifying the three people wanted in connection with the armed robbery.
No arrests were announced in the Crime Stoppers alert. Police have also not disclosed whether investigators believe the person who arranged the online meeting was among the three suspects who confronted the victim.
