Johnstown, PA – A man posing a credentialed news pool photographer has breached security, the Secret Service said on Friday.  An unidentified photographer and approached Biden’s plane as he and his wife made their way up the plane’s staircase.  The man was apprehended by the Secret Service.  CBS reported that their press team witness the event and suspect the photographer jumped a green fence to reach the tarmac.  CBS said the man flashed an orange pass and “declared himself a photographer”.

“A member of the media who was credentialed for an event earlier in the day attempted to gain access to the airport tarmac for the departure of Presidential Candidate Biden,” the Secret Service said in a statement. “The individual encountered law enforcement, disregarded their instructions, and accessed the tarmac. U.S. Secret Service personnel apprehended the individual and escorted him from the area.”

The incident highlights the level of security and the need for Secret Service agents to protect the candidate.
