SARASOTA, FL – Sarasota Marine Patrol officers protecting and serving in paradise encountered a rather unusual suspect this weekend. A large manta ray paid a visit to the boat being operated by officers patrolling just north of New Pass on the Gulf of Mexico side near Sarasota Bay.
