Chris Wallace Asks Jen Psaki why President Biden is Being Sheltered from the Media

CNN host Chris Wallace accused White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, grilling her on why the White House has been keeping President Joe Biden away from the press. By comparison, Biden has held just 28 interviews with the media during his first year compared to 162 by former President Barack Obama and 95 by former President Donald Trump.

During his first year, Biden has held just two formal press conferences with the media, with many of the questions being predetermined, while the President held note cards to read from to answer the questions.

Wallace asked why Biden was sheltered from the Press, a question which Psaki deflected, saying “We can agree to disagree.”
