CBA student athlete reported missing in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, NJ – A 17-year-old Christian Brothers Academy student has been reported missing since early Saturday morning. Police said Jonathan Mathieu was reported missing by his parents.

Jonathan is 5’11, 200lbs. He was last seen wearing a grey “CBA” sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and white sneakers. Johnathan has no access to his cellphone, wallet or his vehicle, according to police.

His family said he left his home Saturday morning at around 10:30 am on foot and headed toward the area of Matawan Regional High Schoo. Jonathan is a member of the Lacrosse team at CBA, where his teammates and coaches are unsure of his whereabouts.

Jonathan has friends in Middletown, Colts Neck and Jersey City. Other possible locations are Keyport Bulkhead and Strathmore Shopping Center.
