Four Arrested in Connection with Dunkirk Bank Robbery

DUNKIRK, MD – On Monday, detectives with the Criminal Investigations Bureau arrested and charged four suspects in connection with the armed bank robbery of the M&T Bank located at 10090 Southern Maryland Blvd. in Dunkirk, MD. Cedric Fonta Moore, 39, Silas Moliek Moore, 37, Jamel Anthony Brown, 31, and Donise Sarah Blacknell, 26, all of Washington D.C., have been charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during a felony. Additional charges are pending.

The robbery occurred when a male suspect approached the counter, passed the teller a note, and displayed a handgun demanding money.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a brown Kia with no front tag. Detectives located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop, leading to a pursuit that ultimately ended in a collision with an uninvolved citizen’s vehicle.

The four suspects were apprehended and the injured victim is recovering at home.
