Baltimore police investigating after man shows up at hospital with gunshot wound

BALTIMORE, MD – Police are working to determine where a shooting took place after a man walked into an area hospital with a gunshot wound. Cooperation now appears to be the key to determining where it happened.

At around 2:04 p.m. on Tuesday, officers from the Southwest District of the Baltimore Police Department responded to a local hospital after receiving a report of a shooting victim who had walked in seeking medical attention.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered a 26-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his left leg. Fortunately, the injury was determined to be non-life-threatening.

The investigation into the incident has been taken over by the Southwest District Shooting detectives, who are now leading the investigation.

The detectives are actively working to locate the crime scene associated with this shooting.
