Stone Harbor, NJ – A teenage surfer was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after reportedly being bitten by a shark, according to officials from Stone Harbor. The incident occurred when the 15-year-old girl, a resident of Pennsylvania, was surfing near the 109th Street Beach.
Upon the attack, the surfer suffered lacerations to her left foot and calf. She received immediate on-site treatment for her injuries and was later transported to Cape Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
